What makes Dawnproof Fixed a blackout system?

The shade closes inside a fitted perimeter rather than hanging in front of the window, helping manage the edge light ordinary curtains often leave behind. Final results depend on the opening, measurements and installation.

Does the honeycomb shade help insulate the window?

Yes. Its cellular structure traps a layer of air at the window, helping slow heat transfer. Actual results vary with the opening, glass, fit and installation; Dawnproof does not publish a fixed temperature or energy-saving percentage.

Does Dawnproof Fixed need electricity?

No. Fixed moves manually with its leading rail, so there is no motor, battery, charging cable or app.

What if the window opens inward?

Choose the inward-opening condition. You can still place the order; Dawnproof may request front and side photos before production.

Which measurements are used?

Measure width and height at three points, then enter the smallest width, smallest height and clear recess depth. Only those three final numbers are submitted.

When does production start?

Production begins after your opening details and measurements are checked. It normally takes 7–10 business days after approval.

What do the trial and warranty cover?

The 30-Night Room Trial and 2-Year Limited Warranty have separate terms. Read both policy pages before ordering.

Is Fixed certified as child safe?

No child-safety certification is currently available for Fixed. Review the room layout and contact support before using it in a nursery or shared family space.
